Yard Clean Up Day!

The NHHS Girls Basketball players & their parents will be picking up and removing
sticks and branches Saturday, April 19th to raise funds for the girls to attend Basketball
Camp at MU this summer.   If you would like the girls to get your yard ready for
the mowing season, Call Paula @ 660-867-6667 for more information.

Friday, April 18, 2008 - 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. - N.H. Jr. Hi. FCCLA will host an Elementary Carnival
There will be lots of fun games and prizes. If you win at a game, you receive tickets that can be
redeemed for cool prizes. The snack stand will also be open serving hot dogs, popcorn, nachos etc.
Come join the fun.


Monday, April 14, 2008 - 6:00 p.m. - K-4th Grade Basketball Night
Sponsored By The National Honor Society . The Junior High FCCLA will be serving a supper
to the public that evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will be: Pork loin sandwiches,
potato salad or cole slaw, chips, dessert and a drink. The cost is: Adults $4.50 & Children under
age 10 are $3.00.  After 6:30 they will have a snack stand open with hot dogs, pop corn, etc.
Please join the FCCLA and National Honor Society for a night of fun!


April 12 - 13, 2008- The Youth Turkey Hunting Weekend
Below is one guy that got is turkey on Sunday evening. Jack Hutton bagged this

Many Bald Eagles have been seen around Eagleville. Here is one of them.
Taken about a half mile north of Eagleville.


I guess they are moving back to the home of their ancestors!

Haven't gotten any more eagle pictures, but got this flock of geese
resting on the banks of a pond in Andover, on their way back north!

weather, the snow is going and we have hope that spring is just around the corner!



Guess What Guys?? Jack & Rosemary (Edwards) Allen of Hemet, Ca. has invited
us all to stay with them until our winter is over !! I'm sure that is what Jack meant
when he sent these beautiful spring pictures. It couldn't have been that he was bragging
about their beautiful warm sunny weather, or that he was getting tired of me whining
about our weather:) I'm packing my suitcase....How about you?

     

Maybe someone should tell Rosemary we are coming!

At the Eagleville Comunity Center. Call 867-3110 for an appointment or just walk-in.
The Blood Centers blood supplies are dangerously low, because of the bad weather.
Please make an effort to come and give this life saving gift!
The blood drive is sponsored by the Eagleville Community Betterment
Update ~ There was a low turnout for the blood drive, because so many people were
ill with the flu, colds etc. Also it was another messy day! Out of 23 volunteers, they were
able to collect 20 units of blood. Below are some of the volunteers. Thanks for coming out!

Monday, February 18, 2008 - The Eagleville Welcome Center opened today.
Located 6 mi. north of Eagleville on I-35. The date for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
has not been set yet, but when it is we will post it here. Everyone is welcome to attend
and inspect the new building and see what it has to offer to visitors to our state.
The Eagleville Welcome Center is one of seven Welcome Centers in the state.

A lot of the credit of their winning year needs to go to their great offensive line.
Of which, two local boys Tyler Luellen #79, Senior & Ryan Madison #76, Junior,
graduates of South Harrison in Bethany, have starting positions.
