February 25 Thru March 3, 2012 ~ District Basketball Tournament @ North Harrison
Update ~ The Lady Shamrocks lost their 2nd game in the tournament and ended up with a very good record of 18-9 for the year. The boys will be playing Saturday March 3, for 1st Place against North Mercer. Good Luck Boys....We know you can do it!! Sorry To say the boys lost a very close game for the championship 46 - 44! You had a great year boys & we are proud of you!! |

Between the Girl's & Boys's Games the Senior basketball players and their parents will be honored.

The evening will begin with 5th & 6th grade games at 5:00 p.m.
The Varsity girls game starts at 6:00 p.m. & the Varsity boys after.

Monday, January 23, 2012 ~ The Gilman City Tournament gets underway with both NH Teams
seeded first. The Girls play Monday at 4:30 vs Union Star. The Boys at 7:30 vs Cainsville.
Update: The Shamrock teams won both their games!
- They both play again Thursday, Jan. 26th
The Boys against Gilman City at 6:00 p.m. & the Girls play Tri-County at 7:30 p.m.
Both teams of Shamrocks have advanced to the championship finals in the Gilman City
Tournament. Saturday, January 28th - The girls play Cainsville at 3:00 p.m.
And the boys will play Ridgeway at 4:30 p.m. - Come & cheer for the Green & White!
Update: Proud to say that both Shamrock teams came home with 1st place trophies!! Congrats!

Friday, January 20, 2012 ~ North Harrison Homecoming Games & Dance The theme will be "Written In The Stars" - The evening events will begin with the singing of the Alma Mater at 5:50 p.m. Followed by the girls & then the boys basketball games with Gilman City. There will be entertainment between the games by the Cheerleaders & the Little Rocks Cheerleaders. After the boys game will be the coronation of the King & Queen. The canidates are:
The student council invites you to a dance in the cafeteria following the coronation. NH Alumni, students, and guests may stay until mid-night! Those sixth grade and older are welcome to attend.

The boys will play Northeast Nodaway, Monday night at 5:50 p.m. - *A Win
The boys will go back Thursday Jan. 12, playing South Harrison at 5:50. - * A Loss
The boys will go back Saturday, Jan. 14 to play at 4:30 p.m. for 3rd. - * A Loss
The girls will play Trenton on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 5:50 p.m. - *A Loss
The girls will go back on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 4:30 p.m. - *A Loss
The girls will go back to South Harrison Friday, Jan. 13 to play at 4:30 p.m. - * A Win

North Harrison Cheerleaders will be participating in KANSAS CITY CLASH, a fundraiser for the Joplin School District. On Saturday, January 7, 2012 The NHHS Cheerleaders have been asked to go and Cheer for the Lady Cardinals and at half time we will dance with squads from Mercer, Winston, and Cainsville. Tickets are available for sale for $12.00 each and includes admission to games all day at Municipal Auditorium. T-shirts are also available for $12.00 each, or you can purchase a Ticket plus a T-shirt for $20.00. Please contact Lisa Smith as soon as possible to make your purchases. UPDATE ~ There have been MAJOR CHANGES to the Kansas City Clash Event! The cheerleaders will now depart at 8:00 am. The Mercer vs Joplin game will be played at 11:30am and the LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO PENN VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE This will now be a five-game event featuring the Penn Valley and State Fair Community College games and KC Northeast and KC Central games.
